Having absorbed the Government’s phased, lifting restrictions plan and consulted with other stakeholders involved in outdoor recreation HikeandClimb will resume running outdoor activities on July 20th.

This of course depends on the previous phases working.

We await specifics on the practicalities of running outdoor courses (Mountain Navigation & Rock Climbing) taking advice on best practice from the Association of Mountain Instructors , Mountaineering Ireland and the HSE.

Outdoor courses and activities are going to be a little different requiring a nuanced and thoughtful approach. But I’m confident we can achieve this.
